After reading about how many other photographers got their start by capturing images of the things close to them at home (including greats such as Ansel Adams)I have decided to take a closer look at the things nearest to me. Although I still look forward to going to exciting and exotic places, for now I'm going to think micro, not macro and focus more on technique and instinct. so here are a few pictures from walking around the house (quite literally) for an hour today.
